Founder of the consultancy, Mohamed Al Geziry has spent the last 30 years working in the hospitality, leisure and tourism industry in the Gulf, holding a number of senior management positions in Sales and Marketing and Hotel Management.

In his formative years during the 70’s and 80’s, he was responsible for the development and direction of sales and marketing strategies for both Inter-continental and Sheraton Hotels across the Gulf region.

He is one of the founders of the Dubai Commerce and Tourism Promotion Board, now known as Government of Dubai’s ‘Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing’, and an active partner in a committee which was established for Dubai Hotel Classification.

Prior to setting up his own consultancy, Mohamed was General Manager of Dutco Hotels. One of his many roles included responsibility for the strategic direction and full day-to-day operation and running of the world famous Jebel Ali Hotel and Golf Resort. He was also responsible for the management of the Hatta Fort Hotel and Oasis Beach Hotel

Some of his many achievements include the development and management of the Jebel Ali Shooting Club and the creation of the Golf Club, today, the home of the Dubai ‘Challenge Match’

Mohamed has a substantial knowledge of all aspects of hotel development, operations, management and local and international marketing. Today, in his capacity as Chairman of the Consultancy, he is assisted by a team of young, highly knowledgeable professionals and works with government and private sector clients to deliver strategic leisure and tourism advice and solutions.

In addition to his many commitments, Mohamed is a member of the Rotary Club of Dubai, Conseiller Culinaire of the Dubai Baillage, “Chaine des Rotisseurs”, member of the Skål Club in Dubai, member of the International Congress and Convention Association, member of SITE, MPI and the Hotel Catering International Management Association.
